LINES OF RESEARCH

Line 1 - MANAGEMENT AND KNOWLEDGE IN PRODUCTIVE SYSTEMS

This line of research aims to understand production systems through the application of scientific and technological knowledge in different contexts. It proposes an interdisciplinary approach to the following themes: strategy and organizational learning, knowledge management, innovation and sustainability, business intelligence, process and production management, as well as methods and solutions applied to production systems.

Line 2 - PRODUCTION SYSTEMS AND SUSTAINABILITY

This line of research investigates topics that promote the development of products, processes or services through scientific and/or technological knowledge, considering economic, environmental and social aspects and the paradigms of the circular economy. It aims to work in an interdisciplinary way, with innovative topics on waste reuse and recycling, sustainable technology development, cleaner technologies and optimization of production chains.

INTEGRATING PROJECTS

Line 1: Strategy, competitiveness, innovation and health


This integrative project between the universities involved aims to explore and analyze the intersection between strategy, competitiveness, innovation and business intelligence, recognizing the importance of interdisciplinary approaches to understand and improve production systems. It involves socioeconomic and environmental dynamics and their relationships with organizational competitiveness. Current and integrated analysis techniques are combined as research methods, using surveys, participatory research, action research, case studies and bibliometric, bibliographic and documentary research. The expected results are to train professionals in various areas of knowledge, from private, public or third sector organizations, who have consolidated careers or are in the process of consolidation, and who seek theoretical and methodological improvement to leverage their careers and/or those of their organizations.

Line 2: Management of Production Systems and Sustainability


This integrative project aims to promote the interconnection between management of production systems and sustainability, which is essential for socioeconomic and environmental development. It aims to explore and promote the integration of scientific and technological knowledge to develop sustainable products, processes and services, considering economic, environmental and social aspects, as well as the principles of the circular economy, to achieve significant results. This integrative project represents a collaborative effort between the universities involved to promote the integration between management of production systems and sustainability, aiming at the development of innovative and sustainable solutions to the challenges faced by modern organizations. Through an interdisciplinary approach and a focus on practical application, it is expected to contribute to the construction of a more sustainable and prosperous future for future generations.
